iTunes is offering a collection of HD movie bundles for $20. Each collection features iconic movies from different decades starting in the 1950s going all the way through the 2000s. These are supposed to be comedy collections, which is why the more recent decades feature some great comedies, but the farther back in time we go the less people liked to laugh apparently. A few dramas and romances get thrown in the mix, but just about every movie on these lists is worth spending a night binge watching.
The 90s and 00s include a lot of great movies you’re probably familiar with like Almost Famous, Tommy Boy, and Old School. But surely, my personal favorite would be the 80s collection, which includes movies like Airplane!, Clue, and The Naked Gun.
You might take a risk and try one of the older bundles you’re not as familiar with. The 60s bundle includes films like The Odd Couple, True Grit and the original versions of The Italian Job and The Nutty Professor. The 50s bundle includes a whole bunch of Grace Kelley, Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant and all those other names you heard your professor talk about in that film history elective you took one semester because you thought it’d be easy.
Here’s a more collected list linking to each bundle. Oh, and don’t call me Shirley:
