Mophie has dropped their prices on several iPhone 6 and iPhone 7 battery cases. Mophie has been in the battery case game for a while now and mophie cases are usually in the conversation for top brands for each generation, even if they end up not being spectacular. The hang up with mophie is usually the price. These cases can cost as much as $70 or more when brand new.
Right now the Gold version of mophie juice pack cases for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are only $50. This deal is through Best Buy. Amazon has matched the price but the iPhone 7 case is backordered (the iPhone 7 Plus is not).
The iPhone 7 case has a 2525mAh battery, which should be enough for one full charge of the iPhone 7. The iPhone 7 Plus case’s battery is only 2420mAh, which provides enough charge for about 60% of the iPhone 7 Plus battery. But that’s not as big an issue since the Plus’ battery is already very good.
Both cases come with wireless charging technology, magnetic mounting, and some extra impact protection in the form of rubber support pads on the inside. The big problem with these cases, however, is that they use a USB connector for charging and don’t have a headphone jack, which means your only option for headphones while the battery case is on is Bluetooth.
The other cases on sale are all variations of the mophie juice for the iPhone 6/6S and iPhone 6/6S Plus. If you’re still working on the older generation (Probably because of the headphone jack, am I right? You know I’m right.), these have all dropped to new lows:
- mophie juice pack reserve for iPhone 6/6S Black for $30 (from $55)
- mophie juice pack air for iPhone 6/6S Black for $50 (from $65)
- mophie juice pack for iPhone 6/6S Plus Black for $50 (from $60)
- Available in Rose Gold
