This is an interesting deal. If you head on over to BuyDig and add LG's 27-inch UltraGear 1440p gaming monitor to your cart then add an Xbox wireless controller (red, white, or black) to your cart, you'll see a discount of $114 taken off the price. That discount includes the full cost of the Xbox controller and an extra $50 off the regular price of the LG monitor. So you get both of those items for a grand total of $346.99, which is down from around $462 if you were to buy them individually. The LG monitor does go for $347 at other retailers like Amazon, but it also regularly jumps up to that $400 price point anyway.

The controller here is the newest version. The new controller improves on the classic design in several important ways. The three biggest improvements are the hybrid D-Pad, the textured grip, and the share button right in the middle. The controller also uses USB-C for charging instead of MicroUSB, which is a fantastic improvement as well. It's also slightly smaller than the Xbox One controller, which means a wider range of gamers can use it.
If you're a gamer, the specifications on the monitor are ideal. It's a 27-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a 1 ms response time. It also uses an IPS panel, which is crazy given that IPS panels usually have much slower response times. Some reviews have called it one of the fastest response times ever measured for a panel like this.
With those stats and the adaptive sync technology built in, you won't notice any motion blur while gaming. It defaults to AMD FreeSync tech, which works with your AMD graphics card to reduce screen tearing. However, it's also officially compatible with Nvidia G-Sync, so you can use this with your Nvidia graphics card as well. Just plug in via DisplayPort to get that G-Sync tech working along with the best 144 Hz refresh rate.
