Update: This deal has ended at Amazon but it's still available at Newegg!

HTC just dropped the price of its VR system, Vive, by $200 dollars. That discount brings its price down to $599.00.

Its price point may be high, but the technology inside is why the HTC Vive is a consumer favorite in the VR headset market. Vive is a collaboration between PC gaming company Valve and HTC. It includes two motion controllers which enhance your perception of being in the world of your game. The bundle also contains the Vive head-mounted display, two Lighthouse base stations to determine your position and movement, a cable adapter and necessary cables.

You'll also receive a free trial membership to Viveport which allows you to play five VR games per month. After your free trial ends, this service costs $6.99 monthly.

VR Gaming is really just getting started. Bigger titles will be releasing soon that you're not gonna want to miss out on, like Fallout 4 VR and Doom VFR. If you're looking for a VR system stable enough to support the VR games of the future, look no further than this product.
