Magix is offering the full package non-linear editor, Vegas Movie Studio Suite 14, for $40 off, bringing it down to $100. This is an exclusive deal you aren't going to find anywhere else, and as far as I can tell Magix has never offered before. If you want to make YouTube videos, get into video game streaming, or do any of the other projects people do on the Internet these days, you're going to need a solid video editor to accomplish that.

Vegas has been around for many, many years as a primary video editor. I have used it for video and audio editing projects as far back as 2006 and it was around before then, too. This is a program built on more than a decade of knowledge of how video editors want to do video editing. It's fast and intuitive. The only thing that has changed is who owns it. Back when I used it, it was owned by Sony. Magix recently bought the suite for themselves.

The Movie Studio Suite is the largest package Magix offers. It comes with the base video editing software, but it also includes everything from the Platinum package that adds multi-cam production, improved preview, and the NewBlueFX Platinum video effects package. The Suite also adds several new ways to play with video and audio:

  • SmartSound® Sonicfire® Pro 6
  • NewBlueFX Titler Pro Express
  • NewBlueFX Suite Complete
  • HitFilm Toolkit Pack

The Vegas suite is compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10. You can check out the rest of the specifications you'll need to run this software here. This deal expires July 31.
