Xbox, Windows, Surface... who's going to do deals on these products better than Microsoft? If you've been waiting for Black Friday deals on your favorite gaming console and laptops, wait no more. Microsoft's Black Friday ad is out now and it has all the goods you'd expect to see. Like other companies, Microsoft is not content to wait until the big day for some awesome deals, either. The earliest sales start today, Nov. 10, with Xbox Game Pass down to $1 for a month and a Windows 10 gaming laptop $100 off on Amazon. The deals aren't limited to Microsoft-only products, either, with big savings on several Windows laptops and even smart home products.

Deals worth considering

Surface Laptop 2: Up to $300 off

One of the newest editions to the Surface lineup, the Surface Laptop 2 got a Windows Central Choice Award and 4.5 out of 5 stars from us in our review. Right now this laptop starts at $999, but from Nov. 18 to Nov. 24, Microsoft will be taking up to $300 off the price depending on the configuration you pick. Other retailers like Best Buy might match this deal once it goes live, but Microsoft will have it first.

Xbox One X gaming console: $399.99

We're seeing Xbox One consoles at a lot of retailers this Black Friday, but Microsoft's deal is just another chance to get one of the season's hottest devices. According to the Microsoft site, the Xbox One X will be down to $399.99. That's $100 off what it normally goes for, and there will also be a large selection of bundles. You'll also be able to save on the Xbox One S if you don't want to go for the full upgrade. This sale will last from Nov. 18 to Nov. 26.

Xbox Live: $1 for 1 Month

A regular subscription to Xbox Live costs $9.99 a month or $60 a year. This deal sells itself with numbers like that. You'll be able to find it live on Microsoft, and probably other retailers, starting Nov. 15. The deal expires Nov. 30.

Other deals to keep an eye on

Microsoft Exclusive Benefits

All Microsoft deals will be available online or in the physical Microsoft stores. While many of the deals might be matched at other retailers, especially on popular devices like the Xbox One X, the savings will start at Microsoft first. If you have your eye on something specific, like a new laptop, will be the place to start. Plus, you can see what deals are live here as they come up.

Deals worth ignoring

While the Xbox video games sale is something you should keep an eye on, just keep in mind that most of the deal percentages are based on MSRP. We see these games drop often on Amazon, Steam, and other platforms. There will still be savings, but you should shop around if you have the time.
