Update: This deal has ended.

The Vanguard Alta Pro 263AT is down to $110 on Amazon right now. Tripods like this have a long and happy shelf life, and Amazon has data on this tripod going all the way back to 2010. Well, this is the lowest direct price drop on this tripod since 2013. Its street price over the last six months has been around $130 with a couple drops to $120, but it has taken a few years to break that $120 mark.

The Vanguard Alta Pro 263 series has long been considered one of the best tripods for DSLRs. I'm not kidding, look at all the places that consider it in top lists: Digital Photography Review, Improve Photography, The Wirecutter, Digital Trends, Lifewire... The list goes on.

It's great because it works. It's a well-built tripod with all the features you'd want without being so expensive you can't afford it. The three aluminum legs can adjust up to 80-degree angles for low angle photos. It has quick release and bubble levels for the ball head, which rotates 360-degrees. The central column can move from 0 to 180 degrees. The "Stop-n-Lock" system lets you reposition the central column in one movement. It can hold up to 15.4 pounds and stretches as high as 68 inches, while still folding down to 28 inches for easy carry.

The Vanguard Alta Pro 263AB includes a SBH-100 ball head for $168, which is a great deal as well since the ball head can cost $80 if you don't have one already.

If you're into photography but not 110 dollars into photography, you can get this AmazonBasics tripod for $13, which is one of its lowest prices ever. AmazonBasics also has this electronic flash on sale for $23.
